Ezekiel 37:14
No one always has a perfect performance. Ezekiel understood imperfection. He witnessed it among God’s own people. God called Ezekiel to proclaim a message of repentance and hope. Ezekiel spoke poignant words of turning back to God so He could revive their lifeless state. How could Ezekiel be confident knowing the glaring flaws and lackluster performance? His confidence was in God, not himself or in the people. God always performs what he says. No weakness is in His words. No blemishes are in His character. God has no off days. If doubt invade your heart, read His résumé. He is mighty. He is always faithful. Trust Him today. Trust Him in decisions. Trust Him in disappointments. Trust Him with difficult people. And obey Him. Ezekiel’s message was about repentance and restoration. And it’s for you too.
