There is a sense in which all of us as believers in Jesus Christ will someday have a kind of “aha“ moment. When we read Revelation 22, one of the most thrilling portions in the entire Bible, we see that it describes the perfections of heaven. Among the things we will notice is this: “No longer will there be any curse“ (v3). Also, the assurance that “His name shall be on their foreheads“ (v4) reminds us of our complete identification with the Savior. But here is the most important: We “will see his face!” Imagine opening your eyes for the first time and seeing your savior face-to-face! That first look will be worth everything you’ve ever endured on this earth. When in heaven we view the sunshine of Christ’s face, all earth’s shadows will fall behind us.
