Whatever I ask in Jesus’ name, He will do it! That is like Jesus giving us a blank check, or is it? Jesus holds Hi name in higher regard than people hold their own. He is God and will only do that which brings glory to His name. Christians need to remember the importance of the name of Jesus. How high do you regard the name of Jesus? This world is adamantly against the name of Jesus. We live in a world where God’s name is misused as much as, if not more than, it is used correctly. Even Christians misuse the name ignorantly by using euphemisms in every day speech. Euphemisms like OMG grieve God and negatively affect one’s fellowship with Him. How would you feel if someone carelessly used your name in a negative fashion? There is no name greater than the name of Jesus. There is authority and power in the name of Jesus. Everything we do and everything we pray for should be for God’s glory. As we seek to glorify God and to grow closer to Him, we will see His answers in our prayers!
