The Lord Will Answer – Isaiah 65:24

Over the years I, like so many, have struggled with the discipline of prayer. I have read about great Christians who had effective prayer lives that unleashed the power of heaven. Compared to those ancient saints, my attempts at prayer seem anemic at times. Martin Luther, the reformer, would spend three hours in prayer every morning. Yet even the Lord’s inner circle struggled praying just one hour. Most believers today experience frustration when it comes to prayer. Isaiah gave us insight into heaven’s secret. God already knows our needs and what we want before we pray to Him. Also, the answer to our prayers is prepared before we pray. Thus we should not be anxious about our prayer lives.
