If we pause for a minute and think of the fact that Christ gave His life for each of us, we can become overwhelmed quickly. By becoming our mediator, He allowed us direct connection to the Father. No longer do we have to go through a priest and atone for our sins through animal sacrifices. No longer does a prophet need to speak God‘s judgment to His people. Through Jesus Christ, we are made whole, and the way to eternal life has been assured. God pursued us even though we were disobedient to Him. And even after we except the free gift of eternal life, we still continue to choose our own path sometimes. Yet still, God wants a relationship with us. This earth’s days are numbered; as Christians we must be about sharing this truth with the world around us. Proclaim the brightness of His glory with your life today!
