We have probably said or heard the phrase, “Have a blessed day!“ It’s an appropriate thing to say, especially for believers. In our verses today, we learn “that you are called to this.“ We have been blessed to bless others. The greatest blessing is eternal salvation. The product of salvation is a changed life. The redeemed in Christ do not curse; we bless. How do we bless others? Today’s versus give us five actions to follow. “Be of one mind.“ “Have compassion.“ “Love as brothers.“ “Be tenderhearted.“ “Be courteous.“ As we bless others, God blesses us. What goes around comes around; it’s true in so many ways. However our greatest motivation is that God has blessed us and this is how He has told us to live.
