Mark 13:11
Jesus commissioned His disciples to go forth and tell the good news offered to all humanity. He also commanded the disciples to be on guard. People will try to deceive them and harm them. They would experience humiliation, false accusations, and violence. They would be persecuted by governments and rejected by family and friends. But the gospel must be shared all over the earth before Jesus’ return, and the disciples were to be the first ones to share it. As they spoke, the Holy Spirit would be with them every step of the way. Jesus promised to provide what they needed as they shared the good news. John 16 says Christ will never leave us comfortless. He will be with us at all times. Be willing to go forth telling the good news that Jesus saves.
