Hallmark in part means “a distinctive feature.” The hallmark of a Hallmark movie is its predictability. When it comes to God’s hallmark, He foreordained before laying the foundation of the world how we could be saved. He Himself would seek to win us with His love, though we were jaded by our sins. He would die for us and be raised on the third day. Thus our faith and hope are found in Him. Without the resurrection of Christ, we would be left with only fear. Our faith is built on the promise of an eternal God who was before time. And before time, He made a way for us to come and be with Him. His hallmark is His undying love for us.
